Rarely does one hear a story which evokes such inspiration as the success story of Zakhe Agricultural College - the only independent black Christian agricultural boarding school in South Africa. It is a story of vision, of filling the gap in skills between commercial and black subsistence farming in a manner which gives its young boys the skills to make it as gentlemen in the real world of farming and higher learning. And if the holistic curriculum and instilled values are not enough to impress then the 100% pass rate of Zakhe's first attempt of putting their 21 boys through the matric syllabus in 2006 should complete the fairy tale.
