Trinityhouse High School Randpark Ridge is foremost an academic institution which takes pride in its record of a 100% Matric pass rate every year. Our academic focus is on increasing students’ abilities to learn, both independently and with others; to expand on existing knowledge and to produce and explore new knowledge. Our focus on Global competencies equips our pupils fully to access the tertiary environment and our pupils appreciate the value of hard work and dedication to their academic programme. The academic offering, while always focusing on excellence, is fluid by necessity, changing with the times to ensure that our young people are quipped for life in our rapidly changing world. Both academic support and extension are available to our pupils throughout the academic year.
Sport
We are passionate about our sports and developing exceptional young people. Our sport continues to excel, with pupils being representatives at both provincial and national levels in disciplines such as Athletics, Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Chess, Cross-Country, Swimming and Tennis. We aim to instil focus, confidence, the desire to succeed, healthy competitiveness and a strong sense of good sportsmanship, all of which is underpinned by expert coaching and top facilities.
Arts and Culture
We boast a burgeoning Arts and Culture Department at our school and our talented pupils excel in every facet. Major Productions, Inter-House and Inter-School One-Act Play festivals, monologue competitions, variety shows, Eisteddfods, competitive Public Speaking and Debating, Choir, Marimba band, String and Flute Ensemble as well as the Contemporary Music School make up this ever-growing part of Trinityhouse. Our talented pupils warm the hearts of audiences as they light up the stage at each performance.
