Our aim as Junior Colleges is to foster and motivate learning and school readiness within a caring, nurturing, and productive environment. The children in our school are given many opportunities to learn through a variety of activities that are aimed to encourage school readiness, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Junior Colleges Sandton has been up and running and in the community of Bryanston /Sandton for over 28 years.
Sandton Nursery School is part of the Junior Colleges brand and we are owned by ADvTECH, a listed Company. We are conveniently situated on Hobart Road, running parallel to William Nicol, which offers easy access to parents on route to Sandton and the surrounding areas.
We have beautiful playgrounds, plenty of trees, wooden jungle gyms, bike tracks, and large open lawns for general activities and play.
At Junior College Sandton, we have a wonderful team of qualified, committed staff who thrive on giving our children the best education, guidance and support.
Our hours are Monday to Friday, 07h00 to 17h30. We are open from January to December and follow the government school terms. During the holidays we run a fun and exciting holiday programme which is included in the monthly fee.
Our school fees are comparable with other schools in our area, with the added bonus of holiday care being included in them. Also included in the school fees is a gross-motor specialist and qualified music teacher both of whom visit the school weekly.
We offer a large variety of extra mural activities, such as Ballet, Monkeynastix, Soccer Starz, Karate, Swimming and many more.
We have a security guard on duty from 06h45 until 17h30 and we are linked to ADT. We have CCTV camera’s monitoring our playgrounds and access areas.
Education and learning is most important to us and this is achieved in a loving, secure and nurturing environment. We offer an exciting daily programme, and we follow The Early Years Foundation Phase Curriculum, which concentrates on the 7 areas of learning.
