Nestled away amongst the hills of the West Rand in Radiokop, you will discover a gem – Junior Colleges Snuggles. This established and unique pre-school offers children a wonderfully exciting environment with extensive grounds where the children can play, explore, discover and learn.
Our small classes ensure that we are able to maintain our standard of excellence in all things academic, that the children are afforded the loving care that they deserve and are nurtured so that they will emerge from this secure environment as confident and happy individuals.
We cater for children from 3 months of age to 6 years. Collectively our staff have decades of teaching experience and bring their own dynamic and creative approach to the classroom.
Our educational programmes are unique in the way that they are researched, implemented and taught in a caring and child-friendly nursery school. We have implemented the well-regarded EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum which allows “work through play”. It is an integrated approach based on the seven areas of learning.
The Baby and Nursery Centre is carefully planned to create a tranquil atmosphere with age appropriate toys that will stimulate and develop each child. Our children thoroughly enjoy the specially created gross-motor programmes presented by our Occupational Therapist each week. The sound of melodic voices emanating from our music lessons is indeed food for the soul!
At Snuggles we pride ourselves in embracing our day to day learning with lots of laughter, fun and joy and providing opportunities to enhance the natural curiosity of our little ones. Please take the time to come and visit us. We are looking forward to meeting with you and your little one.
Show Private Schools. We show private schools detail from all over South Africa because you need to find the best school for your child. We include the telephone number as well as when available the website link.
The South African Schools Act (SASA) of 1996 established a national schooling system and recognised two categories of schools: public and independent. Public schools are state controlled and independent schools are privately governed. All private schools were included into the independent school category.
