The Lycée Jules Verne is a French school registered with the French Agency for French Teaching Abroad (AEFE). It was created in 1991 and currently educates 911 students from over 40 nationalities from nursery school through to 12th grade (terminale).
The school consists of two campuses: the Johannesburg campus hosts students from the nursery year (petite section, grade 000) through to 12th grade and the Pretoria campus (Miriam Makeba school) hosts students from the nursery year through to 5th grade (CM2)
